The resort, established over twenty years ago,
is nestled on fifteen hundred acres of private, secluded property and is located in the Southern Tablelands, along the Wollondilly River, approximately 200 kilometers, south of Sydney, in New South Wales, Australia.

Everyone is welcome at River Island! People from all walks of life come to visit and enjoy the peaceful and natural settings of the resort.
Uniquely, River Island has set a standard of clothing-optional, rather than nude, which results in patrons not feeling pressured to shed their clothes.
This also helps to promote a more relaxed atmosphere where, if one member of a family does not wish to go completely nude, they are not made to feel out of place.

PATRONS who have stayed in our park, in cabins, caravans, or camping areas and who wish to stay beyond the check-out time of 10 a.m., may, for the additional day fee, from 10 a.m., to 8 p.m., being: Adults, $20:00 Children: $10:00.
For an additional $20:00 per cabin, $10:00, per caravan, plus the late check-out fee, you may remain in your accommodation, provided it has not been re-booked. PLEASE CHECK WITH THE OFFICE FIRST.
